Current Open Position:

CONTRACT BUILDER

Job Description and Duties:

Help support the buildout of an entire van and tiny homes from start to finish. Tasks include, but aren’t limited to: Installing windows, roof racks, solar panels, insulation, framing out for walls, and ceiling, plumbing, installing cabinets, finishing touches, woodworking skills.

Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Past or related experience in building vans and/or Tiny Homes is a plus.

• Must have your own tools. Company van is available to use if needed.

• Knowledge: Please look at our already built vans and understand what standards we are aiming for.

• Leadership and Effective Time Management: Be able to help lead the builds and have them finished on time.

• Communicate and Organize: Help support creating meetings with the team and make sure everyone is staying on track with everything.

• Growth Mindset and Curiosity: As a small start-up company, we value your feedback, new ideas, and ability to shift plans as needed. You will need to problem solve quickly and use strong decision making skills.

• Trust: Ability to work with limited supervision.

Location: Hood River, OR

Employment Type: Full Time, Contract - 2 months with option to extend. The goal is for this role to eventually become a full time shop manager role to support the team in project completion.

Work Schedule: Flexible– 40 hours Sun-Sat, occasional employee meetings required
